This article discusses the changes made to the recently redesigned SAT. The redesigned SAT aligns with the recently adopted Common Core standards and the ACT. Although the changes are subtle, the test is more context and data based, and is now back to the 1600-point scale. Although the essay is now optional, we strongly recommend all of our students to take it at the end of the test.
